The Retreat speakers are engaging, elite physician leaders and educators from across North America with years of experience in their area of expertise. We bring the best of the best to our Retreats.
Although the majority of participants are typically women, people of all genders are welcome at the Retreat.
The Retreat is designed for medical doctors (MD/DO or the international equivalent.) It is not open to nurses, PAs, or veterinarians.
The Spring Retreat is designed as a larger gathering with top-notch speakers from around the country.
The Winter Retreat is a small, more focused and transformative experience with Kathy Stepien.
Every physician knows about dressing up for medical conferences. We do things differently here. Informal attire is entirely appropriate. We encourage physicians to dress comfortably to allow them to move between the classroom and other activities without difficulty.
The Retreat starts early morning on Sunday, April 21st and ends at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 23rd. We recommend arriving on Saturday, April 20th. If you are able, it’s always nice to extend your stay before or after the Retreat. Discounted room rates are available 2 days before and after by mentioning the IPW Physician Wellness Spring Retreat when you make your reservation.
The CME experience for the Physician Wellness Spring Retreat: Supporting Joy in Medicine is powered by CMEfy – a seamless way for busy physicians to discover Internet Point-of-Care Learning opportunities that reward CME credits & more. Learn more about CMEfy at about.cmefy.com/cme-info.
