Who are the physician life coaches?

Ashwini Nayak, MD

Hello, I am excited to meet with you all! I am a life and weight coach, certified through The Life Coach School. I graduated from Albany Medical College in New York before completing my internal medicine residency at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. Currently, I live with my husband and 3-year-old son in Cleveland where I practice as a primary care physician as well. My favorite thing to do with my family is explore the outdoors, wherever we may be. I enjoy reading books and articles that give new insights on how we can improve our thinking and live richer lives. I like connecting with people by sharing ideas and writing on my blog (see below).

As a certified life and weight coach, I work with women physicians in all stages of training or practice – especially those who are early in their career and starting their families. Using cognitive psychology-based coaching methods, I help clients understand and transform their thinking to create more of the life they want. I focus on self-compassion and mindfulness, as well as facilitating the development of self-confidence and emotional resiliency.

If you are looking to alleviate stress, to feel more in control of your clinical practice, or to improve your time management and follow-through, I can definitely help. Let me show you how to develop clarity and make confident, guilt-free decisions about how you divide your time between work and home. If you are thinking of exploring a non-clinical career or side-gig and want to develop the confidence to make it a reality, I know how to help you get started to make your vision come to life. Let me know if there are any specific areas you would like to focus on.

I look forward to meeting with you! You can find out more on my website and blog: and
